sigsoundslogoSignature Sounds, Whately

Signature Sounds Recordings was formed by Jim Olsen and Mark Thayer in 1995 to promote the burgeoning acoustic music scene in and around Northampton, MA. Since their inception, they have released more than 50 albums of singer-songwriter, Americana and modern folk music.

At Shop Western Mass, we love the diversity of artists on the Signature Sounds label. Jim and his crew have an exceptional ear for talent (Jim also books the Green River Festival) and their catalog provides a who's who of today's acoustic music scene. We have chosen some of our favorites here. You can find more at SignatureSounds.com.
